PARTTIME ONLINE CODING BOOTCAMP
The 10 weeks of live training for Online Live Daytime takes place Monday through Friday for 5:30PM-9:00PM CST each day.
10 Weeks of In class instruction
The Live Training is the main part of the online coding bootcamp, led by your Lead Instructor Derek Hawkins. Each concept is taught live and then immediately followed by exercises that allow you to truly grasp what you’ve just learned. You’ll also work on an individual Capstone Project, which is demonstrated at your cohort’s Graduate Showcase.
LEAVE CLASS JOB READY
Throughout the cohort you will be creating projects that will ultimately end up being your portfolio. Students will be given a final project that demonstrates their competency as a full-stack developer, using the skills that they’ve learned throughout the course. Students who satisfactorily complete the final project will have an impressive body of work to showcase to potential employers.
POST GRAD SUPPORT
POST-BOOTCAMP STRUCTURED JOB SUPPORT
After graduation, Coding Temple provides students with mock interviews, resume prep, Linkedin, partnership network and guidance until the student is successfully placed into a job position in its respected city. Our career resource team will set-up weekly meetings to make sure the interview process is going smoothly.
Online and Live
Coding Temple’s 10 Week Full Stack Python Development Course provides a thorough primer on all of the tools and technologies required to envision, design, build, test, and deploy completely functional web applications.
Our Online Live Bootcamp is utilizes the same curriculum and structure as our in person program. We have made minor tweaks to the cirruculum to ensure for a successful live-online experience but you will be getting the same training as a student who attends one of our in person bootcamps.– Class times are Monday-Friday 5:30PM -9:00PM where the Lead Instructor is teaching and providing exercises throughout.
The average day will consist of homework review, classroom discussions, lectures, technical quizzes, and programming exercises. Some of the concepts discussed include HTTP, Databases, Libraries, Frameworks, DRY Code, Pair Programming, and Design Patterns. Your Capstone Project will be the epitome of your skillset of the course. Local representatives of various companies will be reviewing them at the end of the 10 Week Bootcamp. You will go from “what is Python” to a Python Guru in a matter of this time.
A TYPICAL DAY
Class Lectures will be 5:30 PM-9:00 PM Central time. Students will start the evening off by going over the last days’ assignment and a code challenge. The instructor will host a live online lecture where students will code along and answer questions throughout the lecture. Once all of the material for the day has been covered the instructor will give either in-class assignments or homework upon which the students can work on it for the rest of the day and also ask the instructor for any directions until 9:00 PM.
LIVE CODING SESSIONS
Our lecture begins with a live coding session from the instructor. During this live session students have the ability to stop the instructor and ask questions if there is something they don’t understand. It’s our goal to make sure the online courses run as similar to our in-person classes as possible. Knowing this, Coding Temple uses a platform in which the instructor is able to control the student’s laptops remotely. This is the best way to replicate actual in-person attention. When students enroll in our online course included in their tuition are web cams and a noise-cancelling headset. We offer this because we don’t want any students to be handicapped or hindered based on their own computer hardware if it doesn’t meet all of the recommended specifications. It also gives us the ability to hold discussions and see each other at all times, allowing for a more personal feel to our online course.
We also go above and beyond by helping to place you within the industry. Whether it’s helping you build a resumé or preparing you for typical software engineer interviews, we make sure that you have the confidence and ability to acquire the ideal position in the industry after finishing the course.
Coding Temple’s Focus
Coding Temple focus is to deliver hands-on experience to students with the most updated course curriculum. Our instructors are updating the course with what is trending in the market every 10-weeks to help students walk out of the course with the most marketable skill-sets. Coding Temple also focus on providing individual and pair-programming projects and helping build a portfolio that they can showcase to employers. We keep our live online classrooms small with max 8 students.
